With over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, Lucy opened Icon Beauty in 2009 on the vibrant and unique Gloucester Road. Seeing a gap in the market, she created a beautiful salon that focuses as much on the complete client experience as it does on delivering exceptional professional treatments.
Lucy has carefully selected a wonderful team of therapists who share her passion for beauty, professionalism, and caring ethos. Together, they’ve built a welcoming space where clients can relax, feel valued, and leave looking and feeling their very best.
Exercise is a way of life for Lucy, and her passion for competitive bodybuilding reflects the same discipline, focus, and determination she brings to her work. The drive and attention to detail required in her sport mirror the care and precision she applies to every treatment and client experience. Her commitment to health and wellbeing inspires her daily, and she believes that true beauty shines when confidence, self-care, and inner strength are in perfect balance.
Taylor
Beauty Therapist
Taylor has been part of the Icon Beauty team since 2017. Professional, friendly, and highly skilled, she’s an experienced beauty therapist with a real passion for helping clients look and feel their best. Taylor specialises in The Gel Bottle nails, nail art, LVL lash lifts, and brow lamination, and is known for her meticulous attention to detail and creativity. Her clients love her not just for her talent, but for her caring nature and the genuine connection she builds with everyone who visits.
When she’s not in the salon, Taylor enjoys spending time with her beloved dog, Boyce, keeping active at the gym, or indulging in a bit of retail therapy. She’s always on the go and full of energy!
Sophie
Beauty Therapist
Sophie is very experienced and has worked in the beauty industry for over 15 years, making her a great asset to the salon. She is a qualified Level 3 therapist and has a passion for pampering her clients and making them feel very special.
She loves all things nails and lashes and enjoys adding an artistic flare to both. A strong virtue of Sophie is her positivity which compliments the wide range of massage treatments she offers, alongside her holistic and spiritual outlook on life.
Camilla
Specialist Massage Therapist
Camilla’s passionate about supporting people with their health and wellbeing. With an impressive variety of massage training under her belt, she offers a range of treatments including swedish, aromatherapy, hot stone and pregnancy massage and specialises in deep tissue, holistic massage and facials, and women’s health. During a treatment with Camilla, the whole body is taken into consideration, with stretches, joint mobilisation and grounding techniques used to help bring you back in touch with your body. She also works with stress relief and breathing techniques, creating a peaceful, safe space where you can take time out. Camilla works with the understanding that massage is an essential measure to ensuring long-term good health and wellbeing.
In her spare time Camilla is a keen runner and an advocate of yoga. She works hard to keep in good shape and can quite often be found in the kitchen cooking up a variety of delicious veggie treats!
Alice
Massage Therapist
Alice has a background in yoga as well as massage which allows her to have a well-rounded, knowledgeable, and intuitive approach to every client she meets. She specialises in bespoke massage that is tailored to an individual’s needs.
Her treatments include; Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Massage, and Pregnancy Massage. She has a lovely personable approach, and will always go the extra mile to check in with you, see how you are and what it is you need.
