Owner/Beauty Therapist

Lucy has over 15 years’ experience in the industry and in 2009 opened Icon Beauty on the unique Gloucester Road. Seeing a gap in the market, she has created a beautiful salon that focuses on the complete client experience as much as the professional treatments offered.

Lucy has selected a wonderful team of therapists who are as professional and passionate about beauty as she is and share the same caring ethos. She is committed to providing clients with the most up to date treatments and products and particularly loves Jan Marini Skincare products. Exercise is a way of life for Lucy and she enjoys the gym, boot camps, body pump and all kinds of fitness. To relax and feel good her favourite treatments are a luxury pedicure or Glycolic Facial Peel.

Taylor

 Beauty Therapist 

Taylor has been with Icon Beauty since 2017. Professional and friendly, she is a highly experienced therapist and VITB12 technician, and  alongside the wide range of treatments at the salon she also offers this advanced treatment that provides an arsenal of benefits.

When Taylor is not chasing her new puppy, you’ll find her in the gym or shopping. This is one lady who never sits down!

Camilla

Specialist Massage Therapist

Camilla’s passionate about supporting people with their health and wellbeing. With an impressive variety of massage training under her belt, she offers a range of treatments including swedish, aromatherapy, hot stone and pregnancy massage and specialises in deep tissue, holistic massage and facials, and women’s health. During a treatment with Camilla, the whole body is taken into consideration, with stretches, joint mobilisation and grounding techniques used to help bring you back in touch with your body.  She also works with stress relief and breathing techniques, creating a peaceful, safe space where you can take time out. Camilla works with the understanding that  massage is an essential measure to ensuring  long-term good health and wellbeing.

In her spare time Camilla is a keen runner and an advocate of yoga. She works hard to keep in good shape and can quite often be found in the kitchen cooking up a variety of delicious veggie treats!

Sarah

Specialist Massage Therapist

Sarah realised from a very young age that health and well-being were to be her passion. Originally from Devon, Icon Beauty is delighted to have her as part of the team. Sarah qualified in 2009 as a Holistic Massage Therapist and went on to study Sports Massage at the College of Classical Massage in Bath.

She obtained further qualifications in Pregnancy Massage in 2011 and in more recent years has trained in Hot Stone and Bamboo Massage. Sarah now specialises in Pregnancy, Sports and Deep Tissue massage and is enjoying practicing a new range of specialist massage therapies at Icon Beauty.

Gkreta

Beauty Therapist

Gkreta joined the team in 2019 and comes from the sunny climes of Greece. She has a wealth of experience, including  time spent working within luxury spas in Mykonos. Gkreta specialises in all types of massage (including Indian Head massage) and simply loves waxing! She is an expert when using hot wax and enjoys threading.

Making clients look and feel beautiful is Gkreta’s favourite part of her job and when she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, shopping and discovering new places to eat in Bristol.  We know as soon as you meet Gkreta you’ll be won over by her warm and lovely nature.

Kate

Skin Specialist

Kate is a skin specialist with over 13 years’ experience. She’s worked in a variety of Clinics and Spas and developed a huge amount of knowledge and experience treating many different skincare concerns.

She offers a wide range of skin treatments including Anti-Wrinkle Injections, Dermapen Microneedling, Clinicare Facials and the famous HydraFacial. This is a super specialist treatment that can treat any skin concern, including acne, pigmentation, anti-ageing.

Whatever your skin concerns and goals, Kate has an expert treatment to suit everyone.

Sara

Foot Health Practitioner

Sara qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner in 2016 and initially worked locum shifts at a Podiatry clinic in Bath around her work as a Paramedic for the local Ambulance Service.

She has been running a successful home visiting service over the last 6 years and has now joined us at Icon to provide foot health and fungal nail treatment appointments to complement our existing pedicure services.
