Can you believe it’s nearly November?! For me, the past few months have absolutely flown by, and the salon has been as busy and buzzing as ever. I always love this time of year when out come the cosy jumpers and winter boots, and the build-up to Christmas begins (as you know, my absolute fav time of year!) I think I must be one of the only ones who likes it when the clocks go back!
Something Different
A couple of weeks ago, I had the amazing opportunity to go along to the PCA British Championship Finals, the biggest event in the UK bodybuilding calendar! The PCA (Physical Culture Association) celebrates athletes of all levels, from first timers to seasoned pros, and the finals really are like the “Super Bowl” of British bodybuilding.
This year, I was invited to spend the weekend working with The Bikini Coach team at their stand at the expo. It was such a brilliant experience, being on the other side of the competition for once! Usually, I’m deep in prep mode or focused on stage time, so it was fascinating to see everything from behind the scenes.
I got to meet so many incredible athletes, coaches, and supporters, all buzzing with energy and passion for the sport. It also helped me see how I can build more confidence and reduce that pre-show anxiety that comes with competing. Being surrounded by such an inspiring and positive community reminded me exactly why I love this sport so much.
It was fun, exciting, and honestly, I came away feeling so motivated for my own next phase of prep. Sometimes stepping back and seeing it all from a different angle gives you the boost you didn’t know you needed!

After such a full-on weekend, it felt lovely to be back in the salon, my happy place! There’s something really grounding about coming home, catching up with everyone and getting back into that everyday rhythm. Happy, sunny Monday and I’m really looking forward to seeing you soon💗
