A Festive Update
I’ve been enjoying some much-needed time with my mum recently. She’s usually travelling between Thailand and France and already has plans to head off again in the New Year, so having her home for a while has felt really special. She’s such a kind, beautiful soul and a huge support to me and to the salon, and this time together has reminded me how important balance is, both personally and professionally.
Last Christmas, I spent the holidays with her in Thailand: sunshine, amazing food, and a completely different festive vibe. But this year I’m really looking forward to a cosy Christmas at home… and yes, I’ve already put my tree up (in November!) A new record for me, but when you’re planning for an exciting year ahead in the business, the festive season can’t come soon enough.
Mum and Me
After sixteen Christmases and sixteen party seasons on Gloucester Road, we still love getting our gorgeous clients ready for the festive season. The excitement never fades, and every year feels just as magical.
And through every one of those years, my lovely mum has been right beside me. That’s why I wanted to share this little photo of us, taken on a spontaneous Christmas browse during a rare day off in the middle of the rush. It felt like the perfect moment to share as we head into another festive season together.
