Happy Christmas from us all at Icon Beauty

Phew, the last few weeks have been super busy and that’s just the way we like it! It has been lovely catching up with so many clients and helping everyone get ready for the party season. We have created some gorgeous nail colour combinations  this month and  it has got us well and truly in the festive mood. So, on Saturday night we swapped our uniforms for party dresses and headed out for the Icon Beauty Christmas party! It was lovely to all get together, celebrate and look back on the amazing year we’ve just had. We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Pasture, a cheeky cocktail or two and it was great to let our hair down a little .

In 2018 our team grew steadily, with Alicia being our newest therapist. Originally from the warm climes of Valencia, Alicia has come to us with seven years’ excellent experience and is a real asset to the salon. She specialises in facials and pedicures and is a huge fan of the OPI ProSpa range.

Many of you will also be familiar with the rest of my lovely team. We have Leanne, who joined us in 2016, also with seven years’ experience and a specialism in LVL Lashes and Shellac treatments. Leanne is currently on maternity leave, we miss her terribly but can’t wait to meet her new little one soon! Then there’s lovely Jodie who has been with us since 2014 and ensures everyone is always looked after. Kelly, who is our queen of skin care and with seventeen years’ experience, our most senior therapist and a key member of the team from when she joined in 2011. Jessica who boasts fifteen years’ experience and specialises in massage and facials, and Taylor who won our hearts as soon as she walked through the door last year. If you are looking for a Shellac or one of our amazing CACI facials, she is your lady!

We have also been fortunate enough to welcome Claire, Sarah and Amber to the salon this year. Claire is a specialised Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber and comes with an exciting menu of new services, including Botox and Lip and Cheek Fillers. Sarah is an extremely talented Holistic Massage therapist and specialises in Pregnancy, Sports and Deep Tissue massage. And Amber, well she is just amazing! A brilliant all-rounder, she particularly loves treatments with instant results such as eyebrow shaping, nails and spray tans.

As well as growing the team we are also thrilled to be expanding the salon. The builders have been busy working behind the scenes and early next year we will unveil four beautiful new rooms upstairs. The extension will include two extra-large luxurious treatment rooms, designed for double massages, facials and pedicures. They will provide the perfect backdrop for the ultimate pampering experience, and as always, elegant décor and meticulous attention to detail will feature throughout. We promise to keep you up to date on progress and let you know the launch date. We are so excited!

So as 2018 draws to a close we would just like to say a huge thank you to all our clients for the amazing support you have given us this year. You make everything we do possible and we  very much appreciate your on-going loyalty, kindness and great conversations! 2019 is going to be a biggy for Icon Beauty and we are so happy you will be a part of it.
